How To Use Redken Styling Products?

I am so excited that you're here we have several products to be able to tell you about our first product for this month. What a bizarre special and it is Redken thickening lotion 06. All of you who are using Redken may know these special little facts to help you to get through our Redken counter. Redken uses the number system the number one pertains to a product that has the least amount of hold and the number 26 pertains to a product has the most amount of hold you'll see the number that's located right on the front of the bottle this bottle has the number six and it's thickening and this month special is a product that's to help you to thicken the fineness of your hair.

How you're going to use this product is this it's important that you use the product but it's just as important how you use the product you're just take a small amount of this product open the cap place it into the palm of your hand this would be a small amount of product even for someone who has the amount of care that I have you're going to emulsify the product between your hands and on wet hair after the shower. You're going to apply this product from root until in making sure that you're working in from the roots out to the end. Take a large comb it through because you want to encompass that root all the way around to be able to get a nice full plump hair texture dry the product into your hair so a lot you got some nice bouquet that's this month.
Now I'm going to explain all about my favorite hair styling products. I talk a lot about color and maintenance of color and toning the hair styling products is something I don't talk a lot about in my post. And the reason for that is because I'm kind of a minimalist when it comes to products. So I think I'm going to go just in order of kind of how I would use the products safely. I want to use every single product.
I'm going to talk about today, except for the dry shampoo stuff, which I'm going to start with because that's kind of like the stand on its kind of product. So the first product is the Redken dry shampoo powder. It's actually like a charcoal-based powder. So when you put this on the hair, it not only absorbs oil and acts as a dry shampoo, it gives the hair this amazing texture and volume, which is an issue that a lot of people say that normally what you want out of dry shampoo is obviously to kind of tame that oil. Also, you still want that volume that you kind of has right after a fresh blowout. And I feel like that's what this gives. And this is your product to that is the dry shampoo paste.

Now, this the first time I use this, I was like, wait. So it's like a dry shampoo, but it's like a paste form. And I was like, that can be like really hard to get on the roots. But as soon as I touch it, I was like, oh, OK, this works. It is a paste-like consistency. But when you rub it kind of into your fingers, it almost dries to like a powder finish. So basically giving you kind of like the same texture as the powder, but a little bit more manageability with this is great too. As like when you're styling hair or even braiding hair would where you want to add a little bit of grit to the hair and a little bit of texture. But without any like kind of wet looking kind of finish, this is amazing for that.

The next product is the Redken iron shape 11 and it is a thermal holding spray, which you actually can spray on the hair while the hair is wet and then use your styling tools such as blow dryer or curling iron. And this has the technology to hold and keep that style that you've created with the heat. The amazing thing about this is, say the next day you kind of want to add more curls. You can spray this on and then redo it. So I love products that aren't just for freshly blown-out hair. All right.
So the next styling product is a Redken Hardwear 16. And as you can see, each product has a number. And clients always ask what does that number mean? And the number is the level of hold for the product, for styling products. A key factor in how well the product is going to work is the control factor. So the fact that they've displayed that on each product makes it that much easier, even if you're like, OK, that's a shine spray and say it has the number two, you're like, OK, stop going to give a ton of hold. It's just about the shine and the scale goes from one to thirty-two. So at 16, that has quite a bit of hold. And this is a super-strong sculpting gel. If you're into that kind of like wet, scrunched up waves, this is perfect for that.
So the next one is Redken High Rise volume lifting shampoo 300ml, a full-frame. And this is the volume using mousse. And this I love to use on my thinner hair clients. They love this product. This gives you the feel and looks like 10 times the hair.
It's also a great style to do where it uses very minimal to no heat at all. And it's a style that's very in. Also, if you will, doing something like a sleek ponytail, you want to tame like flyways using a little bit of this product with a very fine brush or even a toothbrush to just fine comb every hair and get that perfect set to the hair. This is also amazing for that. OK. Now, moving on to kind of more finishing sprays and this product is probably one of my favourites. I started using it in cosmetology school and I probably still use it almost every day. First of all, I love the smell. And this one is a wax blast. And so, as you can see, by the number 10, it is one of their latest setting sprays. And what I like. It does give a little bit of a wax seal of like texture to the hair. So they have just curled my hair and it is kind of rainy or a little bit foggy out. And I'm afraid of my hair freezing up. But I don't want that stiff feeling of hairspray.
I go for this. I love that my hair still has a ton of manageability for those clients that are afraid of hair spray. I get the end of the appointment and you reach for like Italian products and they're like, no, I like fresh, clean hair. I normally recommend at least this the next six we'll just brush up the hair and it's like as if I have nothing in my hair, but it smells amazing. And the beauty with this one, too, is that the next day your hair will still smell amazing. All right.
So the next one is another one of my favourites. And it's the triple dry texture spray. This is one of red like a newer styling product. And I just love it. And you guys saw me use it in a recent video. As you can see, the control factor is fifteen. So it is going to have a little bit more control than the wax blast. This is a very multi used product, which I love. And normally when I spray this on my client's hair, they're like, I don't care what that does, but just spray some more. Because again, it smells that great. And when clients feel the hair and they feel that it is still really manageable, I think that's one of the reasons why it is such a favorite. And so now I'm going to be finishing off with there, too. I would say the most famous hair sprays. So as you can tell by the numbers, 12 and 32, 32 being the highest. Hold that right can make the way I like to explain these when clients are like which one is best for me? I would say 12 is a great finishing spray for you. Just curl your hair. You don't want a lot of texture. You just want some hold, but you still want to be able to brush it out the next day. That would be number twelve.

If you are doing it up two or four guys hair. This is amazing. If you want the style to hold. It's the Baghdadi hair spray of the entire line. Doesn't flake, which is terrible when hairspray does that. I've tried some great hairspray that I think have great hold. But second, they start to flake. Just not a fan. Anytime I've done wedding hair or prom hair or a style that you need, you know, long hours of the hold. I would always reach for the triple take 32. Yes. That is the last and final product. My rent can hold today. Says you guys know and we're right. Can a brand ambassador. And since I love using retcons new dry texture line, I figured I would want us to try it as well. So I'm doing a giveaway and I'm giving away 10 sets of the entire texture line. So don't forget to check out the description box where I've left a link so you can enter the giveaway.
I just had a client the other day that was buying hairspray and she was like, I was that old time. I was like standing in the Redken aisle and I was trying to pick out a finishings brain. I was just so overwhelmed and I didn't know what to choose. So she inspired me to write this post. So I figured just taking one product kind of from each category and kind of explaining how their control system works, that that would help you. There is another Harumi out there that I have not mentioned. And you're curious about a product. Please let me know. Down below in the comment box, l will try and share what products have to recommend for that.
