Starting a Side Hustle as a Massage Therapist

While you have a whole world of side hustles to choose from, becoming a massage therapist should be on the top of your list. For one thing, it pays well because it's a specialized skill that requires from 330 to 1,000 hours of education and training, and, for another, you can earn a full-time living working only part-time.

After you graduate from massage school, get your certificate, and get licensed, then you can rent some commercial space, set up an attractive clinic, buy a luxury massage table, and go into business for yourself. Since you can now design your own schedule, you are free to devote your free time to pursue your interest in fashion.

Paying Down Some of Your Debts

By paying down some of your debts, you'll free up the money you need to travel, shop, and enjoy the fashion scene. In other words, you can divert your funds away from things you're not interested in and toward things you find fascinating.

To pay down your debts, first, evaluate how much you need to pay to clear the debt. Then consider your income sources and what personal sacrifices you might need to make to begin to make regular payments. Next, create a budget to make sure that you don't overspend on luxuries.

If your debts are overwhelming, then you may have to negotiate with your creditors to figure out a way to make small payments over a long period of time. Some may be willing to accommodate your request because they will finally start to get their money.

In the worst-case scenario, where your creditors are intractable and you're being overwhelmed by a high interest rates, then another strategy you can try is to get a large loan at low interest, use that loan to completely pay off your creditors, and then focus on paying off the loan. Naturally, this won't clear your indebtedness, but it will make it easier to manage. You won't be paying as high a rate of interest and you'll only be paying one bill at a certain time of the month rather than many bills at various dates of the month.

Once your debts are cleared, or at least reduced to a manageable amount, you can then start to spend money on improving your wardrobe and traveling to see fashion shows and attend events.

Learning Ways to Save When Shopping for Clothes

When you shop around you'll find a wide variety of prices for exactly the same product.

Research the various stores and get an idea of which stores sell the items your most interested in. While it would be nice to have one store that has lower prices for all sorts of clothes, this is unlikely. What you'll probably find, for example, is that one store is cheaper when it comes to shoes, another is cheaper when it comes to handbags, and yet another store sells the lowest cost belts.

Another option you have when it comes to paying less for clothes is to figure out the various discount options each of your favorite stores offers.

Finally, you can also see if you can buy the same quality of clothes online. Sometimes clothes are cheaper online because an eCommerce owner may have lower overheads and pass the savings on to you by asking the manufacturer to dropship the clothes directly to your doorstep.

Selling Your Old Clothes to Buy New Ones

Since fashion changes, you should consider selling some of your clothes once you decide on a new line of clothes. Research local stores and online stores that are willing to buy used clothes that are still in mint condition. For instance, you might find that your used clothes will sell well on large auction websites.

In closing, you'll be surprised at the many ways you can keep your love of fashion, whether it's buying the latest trends or traveling for fashion week around the globe, alive and well by increasing your income, taking control of your time, and improving your money management skills.
