Step 1- Open the Instagram app.
Step 2- Tap the profile icon at the last bottom of the page.
Step 3- Tap the Reels icon in the middle or bottom of the page.
Step 4- Click on the reel you want to share.
Step 5- you will get to see a paper plane icon on the right side of the screen. Click the icon.
Step 6- Now you will get the first option of add a reel to your story. Click the option.
Step 7- Tap on the your story option on the bottom left of the page.
Your own reel has been shared in your story, and people will now be able to see your reels in your story. But what if you want to share someone else’s reel on your story?

How to share someone else’s reel on your Instagram story?
Follow the steps to share anyone’s reel on your Instagram story.
Step 1- Open the Instagram app.
Step 2- tap the reel icon in the middle of the page’s bottom.
Step 3- Explore the reel that you want to share on your instagram story. Tap on the paper plane icon on the right side of the screen.
Step 4- you will get an add reel to your story option. Click it.
Step 5- you can customize the reel here and then tap on your story option to share it.
The reel has been shared now with your Instagram story.
There may be a case where some users don’t have to add reels to your story option in their Instagram app. There is another way of using RESHARE Sticker to share reels or posts to stories for those people. Learn more about this.
How to use the RESHARE Sticker to share a reel of your story?
If you do not have Add reel to your story option in your Instagram app. Here is the solution for you. RESHARE Sticker does the same thing as the option does, and it is advisable to save that reel you want to share your story to make it easier to find in the RESHARE Sticker. To keep any reel, follow this guide.
- Search the reel that you want to save in the reel section.
- Tap the three dots on the right of the screen.
- Tap Save.
After saving the video, create a new story and apply the RESHARE sticker. Follow the steps one by one.
Step 1- Tap on the + button.
Step 2- Select story.
Step 3- Select the story and tap the sticker icon right to the Aa button on the top of the screen.
Step 4- Search Reshare sticker in the search bar.
Step 5- a new page will open after tapping the sticker. There will be three tabs for three different feeds. The first tab will show you your recently viewed posts, the second tab will show you your saved posts, and the third tab will show you your own posts.
Step 6- select the reel that you want to share. You can search the reel by going to the respective tab.
Step 7- Once the reel is selected, tap your story at the bottom of the page.
Now your story has been updated through RESHARE Sticker.
