How to Pressurise a Main HE Boiler.

By Futli @futlim

This conventional type boiler has a pressurised central heating system and vented hot water cylinder. During landload gas safety checks, it was noticed that the cental heating pressure was just a bit too low. Ideally it should be around one bar when the system is cold. but it this case it was under 1 bar. Inorder to charge the system pressure first thing is to identify the fillinf pipe call filling loop. Then notice that there are two isolation valves at each end of this silver color flexible filling loop. Open both of them and monitor the pressure to be just above one bar and quickly close both isolation valves. Job done!
