How To Make Lazy Lion Cake

By Therealsupermum @TheRealSupermum

lion How To Make Lazy Lion CakeOn a recent shopping trip I picked up a lion silicone cake tin. The following daymy 2 year old son and I decided to make this cake. We named it the Lazy Lion Cake.

For the lazy lion sponge you will need

225g (8 oz) self-raising flour

225g (8 oz) butter,

225g (8 oz) caster sugar

4 eggs

Now most recipes tell you to cream the butter and sugar and sieve the flour, but I am just like the lion and lazy so just put it all in a bowl and mixed it well.

Once it was ready I put it in the cake tin (with it being silicone no greasing needed) and put it in the oven, I didn’t pre heat as I all ways forget that part.

I just placed it to cook on the middle setting ( no idea what temp it was, I just aim for middle)

After about 15 minutes I opened the oven (I don’t bother with timers) and pressed the cake in the middle, if the cake stays with a dip in pop the cake back in for 5/10 minutes, if it springs back it’s cooked.

Then set the cake on the side to cool

Once the lazy lion cake was cooled I used a pack of writing icing and drew on the cake. If you aren’t as lazy as me you could make your own.

And there you have it your very own lazy lion cake.

Enjoy Love Sarah & Tyler x
