Moustache month Movember is just around the corner and we all know that means manning up and growing a good ol’ fashioned moustache for a great cause. In case you don’t know about the Movember (Moustache + November = Movember) tradition, here’s a little intro. During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health initiatives.
On that fantastic and joyous day, November 1st, Dudes, Men, Gentlemen and all men of honor register at Movember.com with a clean shaven face. For the rest of the month, swarms of generous men, known as ‘Mo Bros’, grow, sculpt, groom, trim and most sometimes even embarres, their way into the art of Movember moustachery; after all, growing facial hair is an art.
