How to Get Rid of Skin Pigmentation: Simple Tips & Remedies

We all wish to have beautiful and flawless skin. It is not very difficult to have perfect skin. All you have to do is to take extra care of your skin. There are many remedies for treating pigmentation, dark spots, freckles ad uneven skin tone. Below are given some of the effective home remedies for treating pigmentation and to have glowing skin.

Skin Pigmentation Tips Remedies

Best Home Remedies for treating Skin Pigmentation:

Apple cider vinegar:

Ingredients Required:

  • 3 to 4 tablespoons each of water and apple cider vinegar.

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Take the ingredients in a bowl and mix them well.
  • Apply this mixture on the affected areas of your skin and wait for five minutes.
  • Now rinse off with water.

Apply this twice a day, till you the results.

Almonds:

Ingredients Required:

  • 5 or 6 almonds
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • a few drops of lemon juice

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Let the almonds soak in water overnight.
  • Next morning you can take out the almonds and grind them. Add milk and get a fine paste.
  • Mix it well with honey and lemon juice.
  • Apply this paste n your skin and leave it overnight. Wash off with cold water the next morning.

Apply this every night for two weeks. Later on you can apply it twice a week.

Aloe Vera:

Ingredients Required:

  • 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel
  • Half a tablespoon of honey

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Take the ingredients in a bowl and mix them well. Keep it aside for about 10 minutes so that the mixture can settle.
  • Apply this mixture on the affected areas of your skin and then wait for about 20 minutes.
  • Wash off with lukewarm water.

You can apply this on your skin once every day for two weeks. Aloe vera is excellent for getting rid of pigmentation.

Cucumber:

Ingredients Required:

  • 1 tablespoon of cucumber juice
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Take the ingredients in a bowl and blend them well.
  • Apply this mixture on the affected areas of your skin evenly.
  • Wait for 10 minutes and then wash off with water.

Lemon/lime:

Ingredients Required:

  • 1 lemon
  • 2 teaspoons of organic honey

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Cut the lemon and take its juice in a bowl.
  • Mix honey to lemon juice and blend them well.
  • Apply this on your skin and let it remain on your skin for about 15 minutes.
  • Wash with normal water.
  • You can apply this twice daily till you see positive results.

Lemon juice and turmeric:

Ingredients Required:

  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Take both the ingredients in a bowl and mix them well.
  • Apply this paste on your skin and wait for 15 minutes.
  • Wash off with water.

You can apply this on your skin at night, before you go to bed.

Orange peel:

Ingredients Required:

  • Peel of an orange
  • 1 teaspoon of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Grind the orange peel to get its powder and then dry it well.
  • Now you have to add lemon juice, honey and milk to the dried orange peel powder mix all ingredients well to get a paste.
  • Apply this paste on your skin and wait for about 20 minutes.
  • Wash off with lukewarm water.

Apply this three to four times a week till you get the desired results.

Papaya:

Ingredients Required:

  • 2 tablespoons of papaya pulp
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Take a bowl and put all the ingredients in it.
  • Mix them well to get a smooth paste.
  • Apply this paste on the affected areas of your skin and wait for about 30 minutes.
  • Wash off with lukewarm water.

You can apply this twice every day.

Raw potato

Ingredients Required:

  • One potato that is fresh and cleaned

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Cut the potato in to two halves and then add few drops of water to the exposed surface of potato.
  • Rub it on the affected parts of your skin and wait for 10 minutes. Now you can wash off with lukewarm water.
  • Do this three or four times a day for one month.

Red onion:

Ingredients Required:

  • One fresh red onion.

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Cut the onion into two parts and then take one slice and rub it on the affected areas of your skin.
  • You can also grate the onion and then take its juice. Apply this juice on your skin.
  • Leave it on your skin for about 10 minutes and then you can wash off with water.

Use this mixture two times a day regularly.

Sandalwood:

Ingredients Required:

  • 2 tablespoons of sandalwood powder
  • 2 tablespoons of rose water

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Mix rose water and sandalwood powder well to get a thick and smooth paste.
  • Apply this paste on your skin and wait for about 30 minutes.
  • Now you can wash off with lukewarm water

Apply this paste on your skin two times a day.

Tomato, oatmeal and yogurt mask:

Ingredients Required:

  • Juice of 1 tomato
  • ½ teaspoon of yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons of oatmeal

Preparation and Application Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients well in a bowl and then apply this on your skin.
  • Wait for about 20 minutes or till the mask gets dry.
  • Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Apply this mask on your skin every day till to get positive results.

Bananas and avocados are also good for removing pigmentations on the skin. Along with these home remedies, you must avoid direct exposure to sun, have healthy diet and ensure proper personal hygiene.
