I was facing this error for last many days on one of my WordPress website and I was not able to upload the images in new posts. All the time i had to face the following error.
An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.
I searched a lot and after spending so much time got the solution and fixed it. So now I am sharing it with you guys, if you face any issue regarding this, so you can solve it easily.
You will find many answers on different blogs and forums but if you are stuck with all those then you should use the option I used to solve the issue. Try some of the following options first:
- Disable all your plugins and try to upload the images
- Re-activate plugins one by one
If these two options didn’t work for you then you should just change the theme of your blog. Because some time due to the errors in your functions.php file, this error occurs. So just upload a new copy of your theme or change it and all will be fixed.
