Remember that it’s easy to cut back on nonessentials like gym memberships, expensive clothes and vacations – but everyday life is also important to consider. Cut out expensive convenience foods and cook from scratch instead. You could also consider socialising in different ways – cook for your partner and spend date night at home instead of at a fancy restaurant, and meet your friends for brunch instead of dinner so you don’t spend all evening at an expensive bar.
