Today we will talk about the website stats which are certainly very important part of our online business. Because on the basis of stats of our website we can get to know that how many people are visiting our website and from which countries they are coming. We can also check the keywords people are searching to find our website which helps us to make the appearance better of our website and it also helps us to update our website as per requirements of our visitors.
If any visitors come to our website and he doesn’t find the content related to the topic he searched for so he will not come back again so to make him visit our website again and again we need to track the stats and keywords which people are using to come on our site. Then we will update the content related to the keywords to stick the visitors with our website.
Google Analytics:
Google Analytics tells us about the traffic sources, visitors stats, no. of online visitors, tracking the page views, keywords, traffic locations, bounce rate, new VS old visitors, most viewed pages etc. Google Analytics is the one and only best tool I would recommend as per my experience of working with it and many other stats tools. All of you know about the Google, the giant in search engines and most of the stats are derived from search engines. Suppose if we need to check the keywords, traffic sources etc. so Search Engines plays an important role in it. And Google is one of the best and biggest Search Engine so I think no one can offer better stats than Google. There are many other search engines like Yahoo, MSN, AOL etc. but all these don’t offer any analytics services as to best of my knowledge.
How to use Google Analytics:
It’s quite simple, I think all the products offered by Google are very user friendly, same like others Google Analytics is very simple. What you need to do is:
