If you’re planning to attend a K-pop concert in Thailand, there’s a very high chance you’ll end up fighting for your life on ThaiTicketMajor.
And if this is your first time ticketing there, I need you to understand something immediately:
ThaiTicketMajor is not like SM Tickets.
It’s not exactly like NOL World either.
And if you panic refresh during queueing, you might accidentally destroy your own chances.
So here’s a beginner-friendly ThaiTicketMajor tutorial based from my experience researching how the system works and years of surviving K-pop ticketing stress across different countries. Because nothing humbles you faster than seeing queue number 181,532.

Before Ticketing Day
Step 1: Create a ThaiTicketMajor Account Early
Do not wait until ticketing day to register. ThaiTicketMajor actually have a tutorial with screenshots on how to register in their website, you can see it here. And it’s available in English language.
When creating your account:
- Use your real name exactly as it appears on your passport. Just like with South Korea concerts, don’t forget to put yung “Middle Name” (if you have one) on the “First Name” too.
- Double-check your email address
- Save your password somewhere safe
- Add your phone number correctly. Don’t forget your country code.
Some VIP and fanclub events may require passport verification later, especially during ticket claiming.
Trust me, the last thing you want is realizing your passport name and ticket name don’t match while standing in Bangkok already stressed and sleep-deprived.
Step 2: Understand How ThaiTicketMajor Presales Work
Thai concerts usually have different ticketing rounds such as:
- Fanclub presale like Weverse
- Live Nation Tero presale
- Bank presale
- General sale
For K-pop concerts, the process often starts on Live Nation Tero Thailand before redirecting you to ThaiTicketMajor. It’s the same process with Live Nation Philippines presale.
Typical flow:
- Log into your Live Nation Tero account
- Enter the presale page
- Click the ticketing button
- Get redirected to ThaiTicketMajor
- Queue starts
- Stress begins
Step 3: Know the Waiting Room System
Once you enter ThatTicketMajor website, find the event you want to attend and click “BUY NOW”. Take note that in-demand concerts and especially presale have an online queue. Just like with other ticket selling platforms, ThaiTicketMajor also uses a randomized queue system. That means:
- entering the waiting room early helps
- but queue numbers are still randomized afterward
So if you entered the waiting room at 9:01 AM and someone entered at 9:20 AM, they could still end up with a better queue number than you.
Painful? Yes. Fair? Debatable.
Step 4: Prepare Your Presale Code Beforehand
For fanclub presales, place your code in your Notes app where you can easily copy and paste it
Do not manually type long membership numbers while shaking from stress. You would be surprised how difficult basic typing becomes once ticketing adrenaline kicks in.
Step 5: Choose Your Seats FAST
Once your turn arrives, you usually have limited checkout time. For high-demand concerts, do not waste too much time zooming around the seat map trying to find the “perfect” seat.
This is why I love ThaiTicketMajor, you can select the date/time on top and a pop up table will appear showing the zones on the left and the available seats on each zones on the right. You can click it right away and buy the available seat/s. No need to click each sections one by one, guessing which one still have available seats.
TIPS:
- prepare 2 to 3 preferred sections beforehand
- know your budget already
- move quickly once seats appear
Because while you’re thinking “Should I get Section A or B?” someone else already checked out and you might not have enough time for checkout.
Step 6: Check Your Ticket Delivery Method & Payment
After clicking “Book Now” they will ask you to register your name. Always read the concert guidelines carefully because some VIP packages may require:
- passport verification
- same card used during purchase
- membership confirmation
Every concert has slightly different rules. Never assume all K-pop events work the same way.
For tickets, ThaiTicketMajor concerts may use:
- e-ticket or QR ticket
- pickup the ticket yourself (this is usually the available one for foreigners. They will email you the pickup instructions)
- mail delivery within Thailand
Step 7: You’re Done!
After confirming your payment. YOU’RE DONE! You will see your ticket voucher on your My Account > Purchase History. They will also email your purchase confirmation with the voucher. You can present the voucher when you pick up the ticket. It’s usually in the concert venue or ThaiTicketMajor Box Office.
Additional Tips
Use Google Chrome if possible since most fans report smoother performance there. Safari can still work well as your backup browser.
Also, avoid opening too many tabs at once. Opening 15 different tabs will not magically increase your chances of getting tickets. Sometimes it only confuses the system and creates more problems during checkout.
Another thing I highly recommend is screenshotting everything. Save copies of your:
- confirmation page
- order number
- payment receipt
Your future stressed and sleep-deprived self will thank you later when you suddenly start questioning whether your payment actually went through.
And speaking of payment, if the payment page freezes, do not immediately attempt another purchase. First, check:
- your email inbox
- your ThaiTicketMajor account orders
- whether your card was charged already
Sometimes the payment succeeds even when the page itself looks broken. Ticketing websites love giving people mini heart attacks for free.
FAQ About ThaiTicketMajor Presale
Q: Do I need a Thai phone number?
A: No. International fans can create a ThaiTicketMajor account using a non-Thai number, so you do not need a local SIM card just to register or buy tickets.
Q: Can foreigners buy tickets on ThaiTicketMajor?
A: Yes. Thousands of international K-pop fans successfully purchase tickets on ThaiTicketMajor every year for concerts, fan meetings, and festivals in Thailand.
Q: Is queueing first come, first served?
A: Usually no. ThaiTicketMajor commonly uses a randomized queue system after the waiting room closes. Entering the waiting room early still helps, but your final queue number is mostly based on luck.
Q: What card works best for ThaiTicketMajor?
A: Visa and Mastercard credit cards tend to work the most consistently for international purchases. Debit cards can sometimes work too, but credit cards are usually safer during high traffic sales.
Q: Can I use multiple devices during ticketing?
A: Yes. Many fans use both a laptop and phone as backup during ticketing. Just avoid opening excessive tabs or too many sessions under the same account because it can sometimes create issues during checkout.
Final Thoughts
ThaiTicketMajor ticketing feels overwhelming at first, but in my experience, it’s one of the smoothest ticketing platforms I ever used. The real challenge is staying calm once the queue starts moving and seats begin disappearing in real time. But that applies to almost every K-pop ticketing website at this point.
