With their rope soles, espadrilles are the perfect spring/summer shoes. If you like the versatility that your metallic ballerina flats offer in your wardrobe, try a pair of metallic flat espadrilles for a super casual, yet stylish, look. In this outfit I used a pair of flat gold espadrilles from Vince Camuto and styled them with a drapey pair of navy pants from J. Crew and cropped t-shirt from Mango. Finishing the outfit, I used a printed infinity scarf from Nordstrom, a pink bag from The Sak and blue stud earrings from Max & Chloe.

For a dressier look, I love these navy and white striped espadrilles from White Mountain. What I like most of all about them is they can be worn with any colors you are wearing. Here, for example, I added them to a yellow sundress from Modcloth and finished the look with a white and gold Coach bag, a pair of yellow and white cluster earrings from Macy's and a gold knot bracelet from Banana Republic.

You can never go wrong with animal prints. They never go out of style plus they can add some pop to basic outfits. In this look, the basic black maxi dress from Boden looks chic with these leopard print wedge espadrilles from Vince Camuto. Finishing the outfit, I added a metallic tote from Tory Burch, a gold cuff from Stella & Dot and layered necklace from Bauble Bar.
With Keds all the rage this season, these red sneaker style espadrilles from 6pm are great if you want a sneaker/espadrille hybrid. They're perfect for the weekend. Here they are styled with a pair of skinny jeans from the Gap, a relaxed stripe t-shirt from Anthropologie, a fun graphic tote from Modcloth, silver leather bracelet from Banana Republic and red hoop earrings.
Espadrilles are known more as casual shoes than shoes that can be worn to work, however, there are styles, like this pair from MICHAEL Michael Kors, that can go to work if the environment is business casual. While most espadrilles have fabric uppers, the leather of this pair makes, plus the pump look on an espadrille base, makes them look more work appropriate.
