I was chosen once again by Style Korean for their "Try Me, Review Me" and this time I am doing a Double Dare OMG! Red review. They sent me a beautiful deluxe kit which comes in a chic travel kit bag with an OMG! headband. If you're a regular reader of this blog, then you've read of this 3-year old brand from my review over a year ago about their peeling and pulling products that help reduce blackheads. But today, it's all about glowing skin.
WHAT'S INSIDE THE OMG! RED DELUXE KIT?
OMG! Red MPR Glow
MPR stands for Moisturizer + Primer + Repair. This is a luxurious serum that claims to sculpt and lift for younger-looking skin. It's a skin-plumping serum packed with powerful anti-aging botanicals with a high content of antioxidants to boost defense in the skin to regain ultimate youthful skin. It creates a perfect canvas for makeup to glide on evenly with a soft-focus finish that lasts and gives deep hydration to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. OMG! RED MPR GLOW dramatically restores firmness and elasticity revealing the most radiantly healthy glow.
KEY INGREDIENTS: It contains Centella Asiatica, Licorice Root Extract, and Safflower Seed Oil which have acne-fighting, skin brightening, and skin-calming benefits. You can read its full ingredients list in CosDNA.
APPLICATION: Can be used morning and night, but I prefer to use this in the morning only. It is recommended by the brand to use this before the foundation for flawless lasting makeup.
MY THOUGHTS
This is my favorite product in this kit! It is scentless and feels light on the skin. It instantly smoothens, brightens, and moisturized my skin. Although there's a slightly tacky feeling left, it didn't bother my makeup application. Actually, I think it helped my foundation to stick on to my face longer.
PROS: Moisturizing, brightening, instantly smoothens the skin and prolongs the foundation.
CONS: Has a slightly tacky feeling.
OMG! Red Water Serum
This one claims to be an instant hydration booster for smooth and radiant looking skin. The OMG! RED Water Serum will feed your skin with a burst of hydration that your skin will be quenched from dehydration. Antioxidant-packed with powerful botanicals will leave your skin a healthy-looking glow. This lightweight, silky-smooth serum releases moisture magnet onto skin improving visible signs of aging for a healthy, smooth and supple complexion.
KEY INGREDIENTS: The serum is infused with 75% pure coconut water which helps to smooth uneven skin texture by minimizing the appearance of pores and Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil will strengthen and brighten uneven skin tone. APPLICATION: Apply liberally to face and neck area morning and night after cleansing.
MY THOUGHTS
The OMG! Red Water Serum feels really hydrating on the skin. You'll really feel it instantly. It also feels light and not tacky unlike the MPR Glow serum above. After 2 days of use, I feel I could feel that my skin become smooth and supple. The dry patches I got from Japan's winter weather were gone! The only thing I didn't like is the scent. It smells nice like roses, but I am not a fan of scented beauty products.
PROS: Feels light on the skin yet very hydrating and does not leave a tacky or greasy feeling on the skin.
CONS: It has a strong scent of roses.
TEXTURE & FORMULA COMPARISON
The OMG! Red MPR Glow is on the left which looks like milk. It is scentless, moisturizing, and leaves a slightly tacky feeling.
While the OMG! Red Water Serum has a clear look. It is hydrating, lightweight, and doesn't leave a greasy or tacky feeling. You'll sleep comfortably at night with it.
OMG! Red + Snail Mask
This mask is infused with Super 8 Red ingredients including Rose, Red Bean and Pomegranate extracts that your skin will love and will improve its overall appearance. It also has Snail Secretion Filtrate that delivers antioxidant properties, as well as the ability to stimulate collagen production and enhance skin healing. APPLICATION: Use mask on clean, dry face. Peel off and discard the film liner and leave on for 10 to 20 minutes. When you remove the mask and gently pat the remaining serum until fully absorbed into the skin.
MY THOUGHTS
I never used a sheet mask like this before. It is the slimiest mask I ever used! Yes, you read that right, this one has a really slimy texture that when I removed it on my face, the serum resembles those cheese string on the pizza. And it is also droopy like a goo. But despite that weird experience, the mask is very moisturizing and hydrating. If your skin feels dry or dehydrated, I swear, this will instantly hydrate and bring glow in your skin.
PROS: Instantly hydrates, moisturizes, and make your skin glow. I highly recommend this to those with dry skin or experience skin dehydration, or those living in places with less than 10°C.
CONS: It's quite messy.

I think the Double Dare OMG! Red Deluxe Kit is no longer available in Style Korean, I'm not sure if there will be a restock, or if it is a limited edition. But you can still buy the products individually, while you can buy the sheet masks in bulk.
NOTE: If you're still not aware, Style Korean offers free international shipping. In the Philippines, the ship directly to your house using their local courier partner which is LBC. So you don't have to worry about lining up to the Post Office or customs fee.
