Bustier*//Shorts//Boots
After picking this top from Shelikes I had a moment of panic as to what to actually wear it with. The bustier trend is something that I love on other people but I think actually requires quite a lot of confidence to actually pull off. So, I thought I would trial and error and report back to you all on how to style and wear them.
I think the main thing to steer away from whilst wearing these tops is making them look to much like underwear! To do this, the bottoms that you are wearing them with should be highwaisted enough not to show to much flesh in the middle, toning down the look. The two photos above showcase this perfectly and I love the blend of colours between the two, so pretty and summer. A light jumper over either of them would take them perfectly into cooler summer nights.
My final look, above, is a combination of this. I love the aztec print on the top mixed with the plainer denim shorts. Finished with a pair of Doc Marten look-a-likes this would be great for a festival like atmosphere.
