Charlotte Tilbury is definitely a brand that gets you excited about lipstick as well as everything else! Her formulations are some of my favourites to wear and the shade range is one where I find myself wanting all; not quite there yet (even though this image may look like I am!). Her collections excite the heck out of me as lipstick really is my thing and the latest HOT LIPS 2 additions have been getting all of the attention. I am sure you have seen these all over social media but I thought I would simply share the shades that I gravitated to and purchased myself because its a brand that I support and love regardless of what PR packages are sent. That is how you know the love is real.

Team Tilbury have certainly been a busy with new launches left right and center and loads more on the way, with most being hard to say no to, but it's always worth taking your time if items are not Limited Edition just so you know that you are investing in what suits you as you can bet your bottom dollar that just as you 'add to basket' a new launch is already happening! This is why PR packages come in good use as I cannot get my hands on items fast enough, but just know I do my best to share my thoughts so that you can shop confidently.The previous Glowgasm Collection has been a real favorite of mine and if you didn't pick up the the Glow Palette and Liquid blush then get adding to basket as they are truly incredible! Naturally I wanted all of the shades because hand on heart, they all look phenomenal and so wearable as I am not afraid to experiment with lip colours. Life is too short not to change your lip color I say; have fun and experiment with how they make you feel! This was though a tad extreme (and expensive!) so I chose the shades that caught my interest the most. I wanted to make sure I had a variety of formulas but most importantly, got a selection of lip cases that I could interchange and not have the same ones.Charlotte's lip formulas ...
- K.I.S.S.I.N.G; has a shine finish that is highly moisturising and wears well.
- Matte Revolution; a longer wearing matte finish that is super hydrating & creamy on the lips.
HotLips2 are priced at €35/£32 each in these special casings (compared to €32/£29 for the original Hotlips) .... plus you have the added bonus of being able to refill these for less at €23/£21 which is definitely a plus!

My thoughts on above shades ...- In love with Olivia, a lot darker on my lips than I imagined but still a gorgeous everyday nude pink shade (similar to Penelope Pink) that is so easy to wear.
- Glowing Jen, was in fact a lot darker than I anticipated yet really surprised me as it is unlike any shade in my collection so I think this will be great for the autumn months, plus being the biggest Friends fan ever, I feel that bit closer to Rachel (not too shabby for Kelly!) #FriendsReference.
- Red Hot Susan, is my kind of shade being an orange, burnt red that is super flattering and just adds oomph to a look and is a step up from Carinas Star. Perfect for any season and definitely one of my favorite shades from the collection.
- Patsy Red, possibly my favorite shade in all as I am all about a red lip and this is old hollywood glamour in a tube! Just call me Mrs Tilbury.
- Carinas Star, such a stunning yet easy shade to wear any time and really is my kind of color palette. This was actually pr gifted from World Duty Free and I think they know me very well indeed a this is a new staple.

I will say having ordered these blind, I was over the moon with the shades and know that I want more already. Some really surprised me by being darker than I imagined but I am also glad to have more variety in my collection too so the stars here for me have to be Carinas Star, Red Hot Susan and Patsy Red which is definitely a new favourite perfect red!

If you follow me on Instagram (please do!) then you shall have seen that I announced that Charlotte Tilbury is now available from World Duty Free at their Heathrow Terminal 5 store! I mean it was already my favorite airport to shop at, but it just got a whole lot better! So now you can stock up on all your favourites when you travel .... I am so going to be running to that plane aren't I?!
