Trot singer Hong Jin Young has released a music video for the song “Cheer Up.” The video features a guest appearance from the star’s “We Got Married” “husband” Namgoong Min.
The song is the lead track from Hong Jin Young’s first mini album “Life Note,” and the star has already performed “Cheer Up” on music shows, including the November 2 edition of SBS’ “Inkigayo.”
“Cheer Up” represents a slightly different musical direction for the solo star, who is known for her up-tempo trot hits such as “Love’s Battery” (which is also included on the album).
Until her recent comeback, Hong Jin Young had been devoting more time to her television career. In addition to “We Got Married,” she also appeared as judge on Mnet’s trot audition program “Trot X.”
