Hello everyone! For all the crafters out there, are you always looking for a new and exciting project to try? Maybe you’re looking for a way to stay warm and happy now that the weather is getting colder? Or maybe you’re just searching for a new product to show off to your customers that will keep them coming back for more? Well, here is a brand new recipe we have come up with for our Homemade Fire Starters. This awesome recipe is guaranteed to be one that you and all of your friends, family, and customers are sure to enjoy and love! They will definitely be a wonderful and adorable way to bring some heat to this cold winter season!
Ingredients: (This recipe should make six fire starters.)
1090 grams of Pillar of Bliss Wax
109 grams of Cedar Wood Fragrance Oil
Cut and Sifted White Willow Bark
Cut and Sifted Sage Leaves
Basic Circle Mold Market Molds
CD Candle Wicks (You can also use any leftover wicks you may have from previous projects.)
Sawdust (We are under a little bit of construction right now, so we got to use our construction guys’ leftover sawdust for this recipe!)
Directions:
First, make sure to weigh out your 1090 grams of Pillar of Bliss Wax and then melt the wax down in a double boiler. While you are waiting for the wax to melt, you can sprinkle your sawdust, sage, and white willow bark into the molds. Once the wax reaches 180 degrees, add 109 grams of Cedar Wood fragrance oil. Stir well.
Then, pour the wax into the molds and then let it sit for a little bit. After the wax has set up for a little while, but is still soft, you can go ahead and put your wicks into your fire starters.
While your fire starters are still soft, go ahead and put your whole Star Anise Seeds on top until you are satisfied with the amount. Then let them sit until they are fully set up and hardened. Once your fire starters are fully hardened, go ahead and remove them from the mold. Now your Homemade Fire Starters are ready for you and everyone you know to enjoy!
