Homecoming Invites

By Twotimesthefun @slcs48n1
Asking someone to a dance is no longer a simple question followed by a yes or no. For high school students, it's a quite the production. The blond twin's date surprised her in the Commons with a sign and roses one morning. She was completely glowing in the picture she texted us.
The brunette twin's date needed a little help. He asked her to Homecoming. The blond twin explained that he needed to make it formal with a sign and surprise.  The blond twin helped Joel make the sign, then they worked on the surprise. The blond twin texted her sister for help. She said she hurt herself and needed help. The brunette twin immediately texted me to see if I knew what happened to the blond twin. I was in the doctor's office, so I didn't see the texts. By the time I read the texts, I had the whole story. The brunette twin went over to help her sister and Joel surprised her with his sign asking her to Homecoming. The brunette twin said yes, with a huge smile in the picture I saw.  In the final text, the blond twin asked me to drop off ticket money at school. It turned out that the tickets had to be purchased by Noon that day. I left the doctor's office and went to the high school. There was a line of parents waiting to drop off money. We all laughed as we shared stories. These were the fun moments that would become happy memories and the stories we told at holidays.
