Everyone has their own home away from home. That place you can leave for years and years and yet when you come back it’s as if you never left. I spent a year over seas in Australia and to me, this will always be my home away from home. I can’t wait to share with you guys all the things I experienced while I was in this strange and glorious country. Sydney was home for me and walking past the bird like wings of the Opera house I always smiled. It never got old, it always made me feel so at home. Even when I see pictures of it today, I still smile and remember all those memories and wonderful friends I have waiting for me there when I eventually make my way all the way over there to my home away from home. Home & Away is a soap opera in Australia, the most popular one at that, I never watched it but I thought it was the perfect title for this post.
