HOLYCHILD’s slap-in-the-face brat pop is utterly intoxicating, so naturally we’re very excited to share their brand new track “Running Behind”! The sprightly Los Angeles duo snagged our attention with the likes of “Happy with Me” and “Playboy Girl” last year, and now they’re starting to tease us with sounds from their upcoming full-length album that’s to be released in early 2015. “Running Behind” is filled with bold drumlines, sassy lyrics and some seriously snappy handclapping. Liz Nistico’s playful, deliberate vocals dance atop the beats and turn the track into a defiant hybrid anthem-ballad. Liz and her partner in crime, Louie Diller, are gearing up for a residency at The Echo in 2015.
