with christmas less than a month away, it can only mean that holiday parties are in the air. jeremy and i will be attending our first holiday party this weekend, which is jeremy's military winter ball. being the head of the family group for the his unit, i am in charge of organizing everything - location, food, prizes, and of course decorations! the party is being held at my parent's yacht club so most of the decorations will already be taken care of, but i will have to come up with the center pieces for the dinner tables. this year i'm trying for something simple and not too expensive due to the limit of money - it's very hard to spend money on things when all the money we use is from donations! i'm loving the center pieces i picked out, especially the one with glitter :) tonight i hope to find some inexpensive glass vases at michaels to put candles inside. as well as some red and silver glitter that i can decorate the outside of the vases with! will you be attending any holiday parties this year? or will you be hosting?xoxo,lindsay
