I'm kicking off my holiday gift guide series with a selection gifts that would be appropriate for the host or hostess. After all it's bad form to show up empty handed, if you're attending a festive gathering or any occasion at someone's home. Home or entertaining related items are always fun and appropriate in this category as are edible presents. Reliable go to's are flowers or a bottle of wine but I wanted to showcase some thoughtful items that would be lovely as well as practical and memorable to show your hosts how much you appreciated their efforts.
