It has been a hot minute since I dressed up or even wore a dress on the blog. For the past two months I have been only featuring casual everyday wear, which happens to represent my real life. But I am so excited to break that spell. I recently had an opportunity to collaborate with bloomingdale's and shoot a couple of festive looks. This is my first look feature this jewel tone dress and the faux fur coat from Whistles. I just glanced at them both at the store and hoped that they would fit. And rest if history! I truly wish I was somewhere fabulous invited to that I could wear this dress. But if you are, and you are looking for a dress which is glamorous and hugs you at the right places, I would highly recommend this purple number. And while you cannot tell from the photos, it was freezing cold and windy the day we shot, so while I am prancing around in that beautiful dress, the only warmth I could rely on was from that faux fur coat half hung on my shoulder. Having said that, it was one of the softest and in nicest color.
