It’s always a special treat when we’re able to work with bands that we’ve listened to for years. Last month, we had one such opportunity with Brooklyn-via-Portland band Hockey, who joined us at the studio of our pal Alex Sterling for our latest Buzzsession episode. While their debut LP, Mind Chaos, will always have a special place in my heart, these new tracks are quickly becoming new favorites. ‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs.
