The distinctive canopy framing of a Messerschmitt Bf-109 undergoing restoration. Actually this is a license built Hispano variant produced in Spain. First flown in 1954, the M1L was the last version to see production, with the type being retired by the Spanish Air Force in 1965. This example was one of many Spanish aircraft used in the filming of the classic 1968 film “Battle of Britain” Nikon D7100 w/80-400mm.
