Some of the villagers have been given permission by the tourism department to make arrangements for the stays of the tourist in the village.

During the month of August which is technically the monsoon season, the fall is high on the water, so if you want to admire the beauty of the fall, then it is the best time to visit. But if you are planning for a refreshing picnic, then the best time to visit is in the months of December or January.

Yes, picnickers can cook food near the fall. One can get all the necessary items needed for cooking, a little far away from the fall but it is advisable to bring utensils and other items along.
