From Chilliwack's Old Yale Brewing comes their "Himalayan Salted Caramel Porter". The beer pours a deep brown colour with a brown head. The aroma consists of roasted malts, caramel, coffee, lactose and vanilla. The flavour is of roasted malts, bitter coffee, caramel, toffee, vanilla, lactose, salt and some ash and bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at a cool 6%. This beer sounds like it would be really sweet but it is only lightly sweet and really tasty on a cold day.
