It’s a good idea to exfoliate your skin gently about twice or thrice a week. Exfoliate helps to come off sebum, sweat, and dead skin cells so you get the benefits of your sunscreen and moisturizer too. Today, I will be reviewing Himalaya Herbals Gentle Exfoliating Apricot Scrub which is my current favorite.

My experience with Himalaya Herbals Gentle Exfoliating Apricot Scrub:
Himalaya’s Gentle Exfoliating Apricot Scrub exfoliates dead skin cells and blackheads and unclogs pores. It also deep cleanses facial skin and stimulates fresh cell growth to keep skin soft and glowing. I've been using it for the past two weeks.Packaging:The scrub comes in a sizeable squeeze tube with a narrow nozzle that controls even the tiniest amount of product well when dispensing. The tube is secured and has a green flip cap, which is quite sturdy and tight enough. Packaging is very good and which is easy to hold. This kind of packing is absolutely travel-friendly and there is no issue of spillage of the product.
Texture/Consistency/Color/ Fragrance:
It has a soft and a very creamy consistency with tiny light brown granules of apricot shell particles; the granules are not harsh on my dry skin. The texture is quite thin and it spreads with ease on damp skin. It has very mild refreshing fragrance which isn’t too bothering. It is creamy white in color.
Key Ingredients:
Apricot, Wheatgerm Oil, rich in natural vitamin E, moisturizes the skin, and Crab Apple provides nourishment for healthy, glowing skin. Crab Apple has antiseptic, cooling, soothing, nutritive and keratolytic properties. It reduces skin inflammation and helps remove dead skin fragments. It is also a rich source of vitamins and stops skin cell degeneration and premature skin aging. Wheatgerm Oil, due to its high concentration of vitamins D and E, along with proteins and natural antioxidants, is ideal for most skin types. It is the perfect ingredient for our face scrub as it nourishes the skin and boosts the skin’s elasticity. Apricot is known for its revitalizing and hydrating properties which makes it an excellent addition to your skincare routine.
Application:
After taking out a pea size of the scrub in my palm I use to mix in few drops of water in it. Applied it to the moist face and gently massage it in clockwise and anticlockwise direction. Rinse it well and as it gave a bit of moisturizing feeling to me because it is a cream based scrub. I use this scrub in the night time. The application is super easy and it doesn't create any lathers. every alternative night I use this. I mainly focus on my nose, chin, and inner cheek area which are more prone to whiteheads & blackheads. Actually, the scrub contains with exfoliating apricot particles, this formula penetrates deep into pores to soften stubborn blackheads at the core and prevent new ones from forming. This is the best thing about this scrub.
Results:This scrub cleans my skin very well and one thing I've noticed that after the using of it, I do not feel any kind of dryness and tightness. This scrub doesn’t make skin stretchy. In summer my skin becomes dry to combination, and it works very nicely. My skin does feel clean, smooth and soft for a while after using it.
The Bottom Line,I love this scrub and have seen good result on my blackheads. It gives nice exfoliation to the skin and clears the skin perfectly, leaves it very soft and just smells great. I like to keep using it for the next few months. I'd highly recommend this product especially for normal to dry skin people
