Mister Asylum, the album due out on July 17 from Brooklyn rockers Highly Suspect, has already made waves with the video for a lost-love track called “Lydia”. However, we’re digging into “23”, a song that has fast tempos, head-banging drum licks, and notable electric guitar riffs.

These guys have played a ton of shows — 800 in 6 years! The trio got their start playing house shows, garages and probably your parents’ basement. They’ve also packed the house at the Lollapalooza BMI Stage and have supported veteran rockers My Morning Jacket. While they’re well-versed at live shows, this studio album is actually their first. We’re stoked to hear the rest of it and pumped to hear them live as they head out on tour with Catfish and the Bottlemen. They start in DC, tour the Northeast and finish back in New York.
