High Rule are a pop-rap duo from Chicago and this is their first song from their upcoming EP, titled LAW. These guys emailed me a few weeks ago, and for some reason their message caught me out of the many that I reject or ignore everyday. Probably because it was personalized and well written. Or, maybe it was destiny? (You'll get that when you listen to the song). Anyway, this track caught my attention immediately with it's nice production and catchy chorus (gets stuck in my head every time). After a few more listens, I really started to appreciate the lyrics and chemistry that these guys have together. This track--which samples Alex Clare's "I Love You"--is fun, hopeful, and a great introduction to the music these guys make. Listen to it below.
