Her Fashion Box – June 2014 Classic Box Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Hi everyone,

I was really excited to find the June Her Fashion Box waiting on my doorstep this morning! I was actually subscribed to HFB this time last year but unsubscribed as I was left disappointed. However, over the past year there’s been dramatic improvements to the box in my eyes so I’m excited to share with you the Classic Box for June 2014. june her fashion box classic 2014

For those of you unfamiliar with Her Fashion Box, it is a fashion, beauty and lifestyle monthly subscription box priced at $39.95 with the option to choose from 3 style profiles: Classic, Feminine or Trendy. Also available is ‘the Boxette is the little sister box featuring 2 fashion accessories & 2 beauty products! The Boxette is delivered to your door every month for $24.95.’ They ship Internationally for FREE as well!

Her Fashion Box was born from a passion to bring women the latest fashion accessories, trends and advice inside a box of hand-picked beauty and lifestyle treats, delivered to their door monthly like a gorgeous gift! Lets take a look at this month’s contents!

The Beauty:

Artiste by Manicare Kabuki Bronze Brush #15. RRP $23.95. I’ve spotted this new range by Manicare all over social media recently so I’m really excited I’ll have the opportunity to try this new brush range! It features super soft hairs, seems to be of a high quality and I love the multitasking ability of this brush to apply different types of makeup.

Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off Mask. RRP $3.99. I haven’t used a Montagne Jeunesse Mask in quite a long time! What I enjoy about these types of masks is that because you’re able to peel them off, they minimise the mess you need to clean up.

BioELIXIA Body Shaper Stretch Mark Diminishing Creme 125ml. RRP $39. I’ve only tried a handful of products from this brand but all have been really nice so I look forward to giving this a go. This creme is said to minimise the appearance of stretch marks in 8 weeks. It’s quite an expensive product as well which makes it a great inclusion in the box. Also included is a $20 off all BioElixia purchases from the HFB website which I think is a very generous discount!

Klorane Pomegranate Shampoo (25ml) & Conditioner (10ml) + Klorane Nourishing Mango Butter Shampoo (25ml) & Conditioner (10ml). I really appreciate that the sizes of the shampoos are larger than the conditioners and are in a bottle packaging as everyone uses more shampoo than they do conditioner, making these sets perfect for travel. I’m not a fan of sachets but the product included in them is quite decent to allow for proper use.

The Fashion:

Her Fashion Magazine. I love that HFB include a magazine like this showcasing the included fashion products on models as well as detailed information about the beauty products included as it allows you to learn a bit more about all the contents included! It also features interviews and an introduction to the included fashion pieces.

Her Fashion Box ‘Front Row’ Belt. RRP $24.99. I’m a huge fan of wearing belts with my outfits so I was really excited to find this black belt with a gold panel included as it is definitely something I would wear! I adore it’s classic and simple design, allowing it to be worn with almost any outfit. The quality of the belt is really nice as well.

Her Fashion Box ‘Lustrous’ Hat. RRP $34.99. I have to admit I’m not a huge hat wearer as I don’t really think that they suit me but this hat is quite nice – it features a nice wide brim and is sturdy but soft at the same time. A great design to wear all year round!

Overall, I am so happy with this Her Fashion Box, both in terms of value and contents. They’ve included a wide range of beauty products from different brands which the average female might not use in their routine so it’s exciting to be introduced to new brands and products you wouldn’t necessary buy for yourself. The fashion pieces this month are a real standout and they fit the ‘Classic’ box so well. The quality of the pieces are very nice, a huge improvement from a year ago and both are wearable in everyday life. This box is jam packed with new and exciting products to test out and wear and when looking at the value of the box compared to its $39.95 price, it’s well worth it considering the high prices we have to pay for beauty and fashion pieces here in Australia.

If you want to give HFB a go yourself, head to the Her Fashion Box website and don’t forget to sign up for their newsletter because you can get $5 off your first box! Don’t forget that HFB is available all over the world as they ship Internationally for FREE!
