This Monday my heart overflows with gratitude...From the excitement of making new friends...that I wrote about here....
to savoring and enjoying the summer dahliasthat my eldest son planted years ago...
to each and every...I love you mom... text I receive.
This Monday I am grateful for time spent with my husband.After two decades with our focus so deliberately on our children's welfare...we now are making our way back to each other...in a way a year ago...I could have never even hoped for.My heart is full of gratitude for better days that have arrived.
On a much lighter note...I am grateful for my favorite new appetizer from Five Vines in San Juan Capistrano....bite size Caprese on a skewer...tiny tomatoes, tiny squares of basil and fresh mozzarella...I can't wait to try these at home...
for summer parties under our new canopy of market lights...My wonderful and talented husband spent all day Sunday designing this canopy of lightsand even installing a dimmer...The perfect ambient lighting for summer backyard soirees.Thank you Jeff!!Hello gratitude to summer time spent with family and friends.

I have an artist's soul... so as much as I love creating and designing...the whole marketing aspect...fills me with paralyzing discomfort.so much so I have put it off for at least a year.
