Heliotropes, Night Flowers, Elvis Depressedly

Piping hot releases are here and ready for a listen in the car, on the beach, or a meandering walk around your city! Heliotrope’s new record, Over There That Way, features founding member of the group, Jessica Numsuwankijkul, with a new incarnation of the remaining members, though the powerful melodies of the group’s past music have remained. Elvis Depressedly, made up of frontman Mathew Lee Cothran and keyboardist Delaney Mills, are re-releasing a vinyl edition of popular lo-fi hit, Holo Pleasures, with California Dreamin,’ a previously unreleased EP. In perfect summer fashion, the group is offering a bright and colorful limited edition vinyl pressings of this re-release, available from Run For Cover here. Latest in dreamy alternative pop is Sloucher’s Certainty, a nostalgic return to the indie 90s sound, and Night Flower’s Glow in the Dark / Amy, two singles filled with sweet vocals and even sweeter guitar riffs (extra bonus–the vinyl glows in the dark!). Guitarist Jeff Beck has shared with us his eleventh studio album, Loud Hailer, exploring a blues-inspired style heightened with politically-charged lyrics. Last but not least, Dirty Heads’ self-titled album has come just in time with their unique blend of hip-hop and reggae, totally immersing us in the summer sunshine. Have a wonderful weekend and be sure to follow our top release playlist to be updated on all of the hot new tracks!
