Verdict on Helemaal het Einde
Recap
The short movie follows three survivors of the apocalypse. Lieke has survived alone and is forced to help Sky and Anne. However, an unlikely connection between Lieke and Anne leads to tension with Sky, in a world where survival is the key.
Best Parts
We only get a glimpse into the world, but it shows the remains of an empty environment. It makes us feel like we are part of the apocalypse story. The fight scenes are great, too, showing how much survival is the main goal. At the story’s core, we see how finding other survivors can lead to two main decisions. It’s either someone to welcome in or someone to kill. The best way to describe this story would be that it could be a chapter in a series of short stories about surviving in the apocalypse.
Final Thoughts –Helemaal het Einde is a great window into an apocalypse.
