In general, I keep my jewelry simple; I love dainty, gold pieces. Like this ring, it is a hand-me-down from my mom; It was the first large purchase she ever made and it is now one of my very favorite items that I own. It is a gold branch with a sapphire in the middle of a small flower. But every once in a while, I like to change things up and throw on a statement piece. It reminds me of something I would have found while digging through my grandma's jewelry box, which is still one of my favorite pastimes.
