Heatline Vizo 24 Tip…

Boiler stopped working, looked up at various forums and website… nearly all had no answers or slated the boiler saying replace the whole thing…! Well they were useless!! I know how one of these things work and with help from a friend (fully qualified volunteer) we finally worked out what was wrong… The symptoms were: Cleared, set gas, ignition, called for more gas and turned itself off… Cure set out by experts and heatline – replace gas regulator (£115), I bought one for £80… Our cure – Replace the ignition sensor/ thermocouple (£40), I bought for just £16… First tip- never trust an expert Second tip – never trust sensors (that goes for bikes/cars too) Third tip – Don’t buy local always shop around £30-£40 for a £10 sensor is stupid!!!
