I was called to repair this Vaillent ecotec 831 combination boiler in a rented flat in Willesden Green. The tenent said that the boiler pressure was too low, so they tried to increase the pressure. After that they are not getting no hot water at all. Not even cold water is coming when the hot water taps are open. This is because that they have left one of the isolation valve on the filling loop open. This vaillent filling loop has design to work that way. Okey I recorrected that and got the boiler going …….hay..easy..easy..the system pressure went pass 3 bar..Now it is time to take a closer look..See Video 02 to find out wot happened..
