If dealing with cancer isn't difficult enough, hair loss from chemotherapy is like a sign that says to the world, "I am sick." While dealing with a life threatening disease may make the small things, like having hair on your head, seem like a trivial thing, it's also these small comforts, the ability to feel beautiful (especially when you don't feel good inside) and the way you feel about your own femininity and self-esteem, that goes a long way in the fight against cancer.
