HCTF's Guilty Pleasures: The Primitives - Crash

Posted on the 22 December 2016 by Hctf @hctf

Watch The Primitives lip-syncing their way through Crash on long running Dutch TV show TopPop. They named themselves after the Ersatz band (consisting of Tony Conrad, Lou Reed, Walter de Maria and John Cale) that was put together to try to cash in on the Lou Reed song The Ostrich in 1964 and 1965.

The Primitves called it quits in 1992 and reformed in 2009. Crash was included on the soundtrack of a couple of rather terrible movies.
