Athens, GA based producer and musician Wesley Johnson, who goes by the stage name WesdaRule, takes cross-over to the next level on his Butterfly single, a track from his forthcoming album Ocean Drive.
As a long standing multi-instrumentalist and beats creator he cut his teeth creating sonic atmospheres and it wasn't until recently that he added his voice to the mix, serving up highly personal and soul-searching lyrics. This is hip-hop for people who don't like hip-hop as such, but can appreciate risk-taking and mixing it up.
Ocean Drive will be released via Happy Happy Birthday to Me records on September 13th. The deluxe version comes on white vinyl w/ bonus instrumentals cassette & button.
