Dutch indie duo Veecaten nmaed themselves after a village that was almost completely overtaken by the nearby IJssel river. Lukas Dikker and Johan Kooi used as the starting point for their debut EP Shoals, telling tales about communities that got erased from existence, with only distant memories remaining. The title track is a soft-spoken, multi-layered song. The video was made by Wouter Venema. The EP will be released on June 21.
