Country rockers The Rev took an 18th century tax protest and turned it into a call-to-arms outlaw anthem of sorts. Whiskey Rebellion. This song, actually the first that songwriter and vocalist Eric Meyers worked on, is a declaration of deviance and independence, the sentiments that are an integral part of Southern rock. All politics aside this band is more than a nostalgia act. They play loud and in-your-face, with an irresistible groove that never gets old.
The Rev:
Eric Meyers: vocals, rhythm guitar
Chris Chambers: drums
Mitchell Leonard: piano
John June: bass
Frank Monaco: lead guitar
Guests musicians:
Ciera Elizabeth: vocals
John Rickard: pedal steel
