HBO Offers an Extended Look at ‘Looking’

By Eowyn @DrEowyn

Yahoo: The premium cable network has released the second full-length trailer for its forthcoming comedy series, which focuses on a group of gay friends in San Francisco.

Developed by Michael Lannan based on his short film “Lorimer,” “Looking” will follow three 30-something gay men living in San Francisco and exploring the possibilities open to gay men of their generation. Patrick, a video game designer on the rebound from a failed relationship; Agustin, the artist with a fear of monogamy and monotony; and Dom, the waiter approaching middle age; are all seeking love and happiness.

In the leading roles, Jonathan Graff (“Glee”), Frankie J. Alvarez (“Smash”) and Murray Bartlett (“Sex and the City”) are joined by Scott Bakula. The “Quantum Leap” star, who recently appeared in “Behind the Candelabra,” plays Lynn, an entrepreneur who seduces Dom in spite of the significant age difference.

“Looking” premieres on HBO on January 19, 2014.

Another show I won’t be watching…
