Having a Coke with You

Last week, after another day of writing at the library, I met Rachael for a drink. She asked about the Pays Basque. Her friend joined the conversation as I was recounting Leslie and I's experiences in Biarritz, Bayonne, San Sébastian, and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The trip reminded her of a poem, her favorite. She told me to look up the video of Frank O'Hara is reading it aloud when I got home. I did. It is beyond lovely. And now, I'd like to share it with you.
