Our Orlando friends, SALES, just released their debut EP, and I’ve been listening to it constantly. Over the course of a year, the duo consistently released a string of singles, each one just as excellent as the one before. Using this method of leaving us half tantalized and half satisfied worked masterfully, as their EP brings together all of those singles plus a new track, a remix and brand new artwork by the amazing Alana Questell. The new track, “Getting It On”, is one of my favorites yet with a delicate, melody, dreamy instrumentation and cool vocals that exemplify why SALES hold such subtle charm, even with repeated plays. Basically, SALES is a band I think you need to pay attention to, not just because I think they’re about to “blow up”, but because they’re actually amazing.
