Geraldo Rivera if you don’t sit your dumb ass down. I’m so tired of Fox New and their bullshit. I’m letting y’all know now that there will be a whole lot of cussing in this post because I’m tired and frustrated. Last Sunday, kendrick Lamar performed on the BET awards, which featured Kendrick on top of a vandalized cop car and rapping the lyrics, “And we hate the po-po / Wanna kill us dead in the street for sure.” Yeah I know people are going to say thats wrong, but all these police killing my fellow black brothers and letting a certain race live. I have a problem with that. So, if Kendrick wants to rap about that I say go ahead.
I can go on and on about how unfair the justice system is, but I won’t I’m here to drag Geraldo Rivera and his dumb ass statement. Geraldo is mad about Kendrick’s performance and that he needs to rapping about heroes and more uplifting shit. Geraldo stated that Kendricks performance ” is why I say that hip-hop has done more damage to young African Americans than racism in recent years. This is exactly the wrong message.” Geraldo, girl shut up. Hip-Hop isn’t what’s causing damage to young black males. It’s the system that we are born into. And how unfair certain cops are mistreating us. There is no reason that so many black youth should be killed, violently beaten, or treated like we’re not humans. We’re tired of that so of course some people are going to act. Theres only so much people can take before they lash out.
Since Geraldo is worried about Kendrick performance and how hip-hop hasn’t helped black youth, let talk about these white trash televisions shows that isn’t helpful. Y’all praise Breaking Bad, Quentin Tarantino, these horror movies where white men are killing people, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, and more bull shit. Why aren’t you worried about that shit? Because that’s the stuff y’all really need to be worried about? Especially these games because they got these white men (really kids, but if my black brothers who are under 18 are called men, I’m going to call other races men too.) shooting at schools, movies, and at churches. Get that shit together before you come for Hip-Hop. Geraldo shut the phuck up and have you seat you old dusty bastard.
