Have a Joyous Season!

By Stephanie
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas -- Calvin Coolidge

Meanwhile here are some garden progresses. Firstly my Thyme! Oh, the herb is so gracious. Each time I prune it, the little shrub grows back so quickly. The plant smells wonderful and I just love how the foliage drape down the edges of the pot. But soon it will be time for a cut again.

Cuphea hyssopifolia (Mexican Heather) is the other bush that needs a prune soon. Actually I have been delaying the cut as the shrub has been flowering so well.

So is my dwarf Ixora. The shrub is ever-blooming! Love it when there is some sun shining on the plant as the light make it look extra cheerful!

Have a Joyous Season!

My pink dwarf Azalea has at least six flowers on the little bush!

Meanwhile a hibiscus blossomed to brighten up the whole garden during a cloudy day. I wish I can have more of this!

A cute little yellow Crossandra (Crossandra infundibuliformis 'Lutea') has finally emerged. The plant took such a long time to regrow and reflower!! Oh why?

My favorite plant, Gloxinia! This one flower a little late. I thought after the first two buds opened, I won't be seeing more. I was wrong. These three blooms are its second flush of flowers. Love them to bits :-D

Red-berried, Rivina humilis brings outstanding color to the garden. Red happens to be the color of Christmas! Glad to see these fruits though the bush has not been growing as lush as I wanted.

Have a wonderful time with your loved ones :-D
