Hats of all sizes and decades add a big impact to whatever you're wearing, and where ever you choose to wear it. You could probably wear the same dress all week, but if you've got on a a different hat, you'll be wearing a whole new outfit. Hats add "oomph," character and appeal.
Today, along with Judith, the beloved Style Crone, we celebrate the hat.
I Wear Many Hats.
This is my first, and likely the only post for the month of August. I'll be taking some time off here, because at the moment, I'm wearing quite a number of proverbial hats.
Some hats I'm wearing:
- Vintage Seller. Not only will I be working hard to keep my Etsy shop full of fresh picked finds, I am currently involved with an excited "brick and mortar" venture! One of my favorite shops in Seattle is moving to a bigger and better location and I am honored to be part the new space. Along with a small, select handful of other vintage sellers, I'll be setting up a micro-boutique inside the Beats + Bohos! Once we get set up and open for business, expect to see a big announcement about it on my Facebook page.
- Social Media/Marketing Maven. I've had the pleasure of working with Karina Dresses, first as a brand ambassador, then as their newsletter writer and graphic artist. Now, I'm proud to announce that I'll be taking on more responsibilities with this amazing little dress company. Now the role of editor for their blog, the Karina Chronicles, can be added to my resume.
- Online Publisher. I've been a fashion blogger/online publisher for 5 years now, but in the upcoming months, I'll be focusing my energies on something I'm very passionate about: my labor-of-love for the +40 community called Into the Violet. Expect a vibrant and pertinent website showcasing our +40 Blog Roll. Into the Violet is just getting started, but expect great (and colorful) things!
