HASK Keratin Smoothing Hair Care Collection Review

When it comes to my hair, I’m as picky as they come. I will only use the best products on my hair, wash it every couple of days, etc. I was offered a HASK Keratin Smoothing Hair Care Collection to review so of course I had to put it to the test. For those of you who don’t know, Keratin is what your hair, skin, and nails are made of so its a no brainer that HASK includes it in their hair products. Other than holding the curling iron for you, Keratin can easily restore and strengthen your frizzy locks.

The products have nice labeling and confirmed that the products are in deed free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors which is a must for me.  They also come in a super cute and trendy drawstring canvas bag which is perfect for traveling or a last minute getaway.

The first product up on the chopping block is the Keratin Smoothing Shampoo. My first instinct with any shampoo is smelling it. I know, I know, the smell means nothing to how it works but seriously, who wants to walk around with funky smelling hair? Thankfully enough, the shampoo smelled absolutely amazing! I was in love!  Since this product is best for frizzy, dry, or color treated hair and my hair happens to be all three, it was a nice surprise to see my hair immediately feeling softer and smoother after my first wash.

Next up, the oh so important Keratin Smoothing Conditioner. Conditioner is something I can NEVER skip if I want to ever brush my hair again. The Keratin in the conditioner did a great job detangling my hair and rinsed out thoroughly without taking an excessive amount of rinsing.  After getting out of the shower and towel drying my hair, I was able to brush through it fairly easy which was great!

The last two products in the collection are the Keratin Smoothing Deep Conditioner and the Keratin Smoothing Shine Treatment. These two are products that I wouldn’t use on a daily basis but maybe bi-weekly to monthly. The HASK Keratin Protein Smoothing Deep Conditioner is an ultra restorative, moisturizing hair conditioner that repairs damage, reduces breakage, and helps reduce static and drying time. Since the product is so restorative it can weigh your hair down if used too often, hence the biweekly/monthly comment. As for the Keratin Smoothing Shine Treatment, this product is a lightweight, alcohol-free, instantly absorbing oil that provides a gorgeous shine. I love soft hair but having it super shine is also an awesome added benefit.

Overall I though the product was great and handled my color treated hair well. I love the scents of all the products and love how easily they washed out of my hair without feeling left over residue. I would recommend this to a friend to try any day.
