Happy New Year from the Harvey Mercheum! What a busy year 2017 was! Looking back, some of the highlights of 2017 that stand out to me include:
- Switching web hosting to a more reliable company
- Getting the Harvey Mercheum website on the Cloudflare Content Delivery Network (CDN)
- Providing true date archive navigation of the Mercheum Blog by creating the Harvey Mercheum Editorial Calendar on Google Calendar
- Being interviewed in Intelligent Collector magazine
- Formalizing the “Special Days” calendar
- Coining the new term Harveyana
- Analyzing the JA-RU rack toy collection
- Posting the 100th exhibit
- Posting 27 exhibits in the 2017 calendar year
I would say, looking at this list, that 2017 was a good year for the Mercheum. Here’s hoping that 2018 is even better!
